Born in Merida, Yucatan (Mexico). Studied art at the National Arts School (San Carlos) UNAM in Mexico City Study cast in bronze at the Institute Allende in San Miguel de Allende (Guanajuato) and has a Master of Fine Arts degree specializing in design and construction of furnaces and ceramic kilns for A & I University in Texas.

Miriam Perez was director of cultural promotion department at the Institute Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and a professor at the Centro Universitario Anglo Mexicano (CUAM), currently lives in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.

Born in Merida, Yucatan (Mexico). Studied Plastic Arts at the National School of Fine Arts (San Carlos) UNAM in Mexico City. Graduated with a BFA in Bronze Casting from the "Instituto Allende (UAG) in San Miguel de Allende and a Master of Science in Fine Arts Specializing in design and construction of furnaces and ceramic kilns from the A & I University in Texas.

Miriam Pérez WAS Director of the Cultural Department at the "Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and senior arts professor at the" Centro Universitario Anglo Mexicano (CUAM). Currently she lives in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.

The artist designs work for private homes and hotels. She has exhibit in individual and collective shows and her work is on permanent display at: Art Gallery Art Galley Petrus, Asturian Center, "University of Communication", "Radiology" Radio Station, National Academy of Development and Investigation, Hotel Benidorm, Costa del Sol Hotel, Restaurant "La Valentina" CUAM, Hard Rock Cafe as well as private collections in Mexico and the U.S.
